I try not to simply post links to other things too much, but I have to provide a bit of a link fest to the new Apple retail store in New York City – it’s a beautiful glass cube near Central Park. The store itself sits underground beneath the cube and will be open 24/365 for all the late night apple geeks to get their fix.
Gothamist have been following its development closely and have a great article on the opening – read down to the bottom for the link to many photos on flickr (one of which has been used above).
You can also check out the official gallery on the Apple Retail store page. The 360 degree panoramic photos are excellent! (quicktime required to view)
I hope to be back in NYC in January for my honeymoon and will definitely be paying the retail store a visit!

Oh, my, that does look awesome.
Is there anything apple don’t do better than everyone else?

I feel a large part of our honeymoon may be spent in the Apple Store.
