Subscribing to comment feeds in Wordpress

Like a lot of ex-20six-ers I’ve moved to Wordpress and am still getting to grips with it (ooh, the raw power!).

One of the things I miss from 20six is being subscribed to any comments once you’ve made a comment in someone else’s blog. I have a few ideas on how to fix that – but that’s for another day. Today I’m going to tell you how you can keep track of comments.

Choose Your Own Radio Station online

February 9, 2006 on 8:38 pm | In Madness | 1 Comment

pandora.com is a rather cunning service that allows you to listen to full music tracks onilne, for free. You tell it what band or song you like, and then it creates a sort of personal radio station from that for you to listen to. It’s free to register and then it will remember up to 100 stations, and anything you’ve marked as a favourite.

Much like a radio station, I don’t think you can pick a particular song to listen to, but if you don’t like a song you can skip it or give it a "thumbs down" and then Pandora won’t play music like that again.

I’ve only been using it for a little bit but I’m very impressed so far! Happily it seems to work on Mac or PC, as it just uses your web browser to play the music.

Theoretically its only open to users in the USA but just make up a zip code and you’re away :-)
